What is BrewSouth?

BrewSouth is a direct-to-consumer distributor that ships fresh on-demand roasted coffee from select hand-picked small-batch roasters located in the southern United States.  We are so proud of the work and products produced by these amazing roasters, that we knew coffee lovers needed to experience these incredible roasts for themselves.

COFFEE

How fresh is the coffee I order?

Your coffee is roasted specifically for you by the small-batch roaster listed on the coffee when you place your order.  Once your order has been received and listed as 'processing', the roaster begins the roasting process. Your coffee is freshly roasted, degassed, bagged and shipped directly to you from BrewSouth within 48-72 hours of ordering.

What size bags can I purchase?

All of the custom roasted coffee we receive from each roaster is sealed by the roaster in 12oz bags containing your choice of whole bean or ground coffee.

Do I need a special kind of coffee maker or machine?

You can use absolutely any kind of coffee maker, brewer, or machine to make your coffee.  Whether your favorite is a french press, pour over, espresso machine or that old relic of a coffee maker you keep in the garage, it's totally up to you.  It's really the size of the cup that matters! (kidding).

Does BrewSouth offer decaf coffee?

We sure do. All of the decaffeinated coffee roasts we offer can be found in our DECAF section.

How should I store my coffee and how long will it stay fresh?

For optimal freshness we suggest storing your coffee purchased from BrewSouth in an airtight container or in the original coffee bag which are designed with a one-way degassing valve. Stored correctly, you can extend a coffee bean's shelf life for up to a year.

GIFTS

Does BrewSouth offer Gift Cards?

We offer gift cards with designs for most occasions. Sending a gift card is as easy as choosing the gift card design from our gift card category, choosing the amount you wish to send, entering your name, the recipient's name, your email address and their email address, plus a personal message. Our system will then create a virtual gift card in the amount you specified and create an email containing the gift card, the amount, where and how to redeem it at BrewSouth along with your personal message. Gift cards never expire and can be used partially while keeping a remaining balance or all at once for the full amount.

Can I send coffee as a gift?

Absolutely. Simply add the coffee you wish to send as a gift to your cart and upon checkout after entering your payment's billing address, choose 'Ship to a different address'. Check both 'Is this a gift' and 'Gift entire order'. You will then be presented with a FROM and TO box along with the option of including a personal message which appears on the packing slip (prices never appear on the packing slip). Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number to monitor delivery of your gift.

SHIPPING and DELIVERY

How much does BrewSouth charge for U.S. shipping?

Shipping is fast, simple and inexpensive. Simply add the number of bags of coffee you wish to order to your cart and enter your state and zip code in the 'Calculate Shipping' area for a shipping quote based on the weight of your order. This also includes shipping to AK, HI, PR, VI, GU, AS, APO/FPO and any location with a U.S. zip code. All shipments sent by BrewSouth always include a tracking number and are fully insured.

Does BrewSouth ship to Canada?

Hey, we know Canadians love coffee too, eh? So of course we'll ship to Canada. Once you've added your item(s) to your cart, enter your city, province and postal code into the 'Calculate Shipping' section for an exact shipping quote. Canadian orders will display quotes for both 1st Class International Package and Priority International. Shipping options are calculated based on time to deliver and weight. Orders and shipping are charged in U.S. dollars.

Do you ship to APO / FPO and U.S. Military addresses?

Are you kidding? We're based out of a military town, so of course we're happy, honored and proud to ship to our coffee loving members of the U.S. Armed Forces. All APO/FPO addresses are considered domestic and eligible for all domestic shipping rates and promotions.

When will I receive my shipment once I place my order?

Your coffee is roasted specifically for you once you've place your order. Once the roaster has completed the roast, degassed, packed and sealed your bag, your coffee arrives at the BrewSouth shipping facility for shipping to you. Typically from the time you place order to the time your order has shipped is about 48-72 hours. To ensure quick delivery, we ship 6 days a week and email tracking numbers the same day, as soon as they become available. Delivery is 1-3 days for most of the U.S. and only automated digital labeling is used to speed your package through the USPS system.

Do you ship in a fancy decorative box with lots of tissue paper?

Sure we could, but we decided it was more important to save our customer's money by keeping prices low and use professional industrial-strength USPS approved materials to ensure your coffee arrives to you fast and in absolute perfect condition.

How can I track my order?

Every shipment includes a tracking number which is trackable online from pickup to delivery. You'll receive your tracking number in an email as soon as your order ships. You can also retrieve your tracking number online on BrewSouth even if you checked out as a guest. Our Track My Order page will get you the information you need.

BrewSouth accepts credit and debit Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and Paypal for all orders.

Is my credit card and personal information safe?

We take security very seriously and the safety of your personal information is extremely important to BrewSouth. We use a wide array of sophisticated hardware and technological security measures to protect your personal data. All customer data on our systems is encrypted and stored using various military-grade secure protocols to protect your information from unauthorized access. Credit card numbers and payment information are never stored on our systems at any time. All credit card information is encrypted and vaulted on secure authorized bank servers and protected from unauthorized access.

RETURNS, CREDITS & REFUNDS

What is your return policy?

At BrewSouth we work hard to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your BrewSouth purchase and offer a 100% refund on all unopened 12oz bags of coffee. Each order is roasted on-demand and specifically for each customer. However, if you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us at custserv@brewsouth.com within fourteen (14) days from the date you received your shipment and we will provide you with a 100% refund for the cost of the unopened product upon return. Due to food health and safety concerns, we can only accept returns for unopened products. The product must be unused, factory sealed and in it's original packaging. Once we have received and processed your return, we will provide you with a full refund or store credit (your choice) of the purchase price less any applicable shipping charges. If the returned product has been opened, used or arrives damaged, the returned shipment will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense. Once your return has been approved and an RMA number has been issued, you will be provided with complete return shipping instructions via email. Returns that do not comply with the terms detailed in this section and our Terms and Conditions will be ineligible for any credit or refund. Shipments that are returned for insufficient address or undeliverable will receive a product refund minus actual shipping cost. Shipments that are refused at delivery will receive a product refund minus a 30% restocking fee, minus actual shipping cost.

What if my shipment arrives damaged?

All shipments are packed using professional-grade USPS approved new materials, and insured against damage. If any product you receive arrives damaged, please contact us at custserv@brewsouth.com within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. Please do not throw away the shipping box, packing or stickers/notices that were attached to the package by the USPS. Depending on the circumstances, you will receive a replacement, partial or full refund of the purchase price applicable to the damaged product. We may require photographic documentation of any damaged product before we provide you with a replacement, store credit or refund.
